To get a permit first go to recreation.gov GC page and click 'Available Permits-Check Availability', enter group number, pick dates and 'SELECT A STARTING AREA.'

The starting area will dictate what 'Site or Zone' you see. Each Site/Zone starts with a Zone Code, and THESE are what will match with the 'code' in the firs column of the map explorer. Use sort or search to match up Zone/Sites from recreation.gov with what you see on this map. And WaLa!
